This fall we are offering you the chance of a lifetime to learn about the Bible. We will offer DISCIPLE 1: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study This class lasts all year long (34 weeks). Each participant will need a study manual and materials that cost $40. However manuals will be available for all. This may seem like a long time to commit to something, but good relationships take time. DISCIPLE will build your relationship with God and your church family. By the end you will know about the scope and sweep of the entire Bible. No matter how much or how little you have studied the Bible there is always more to learn.
 
This is a powerful way to enrich your life with the love of Christ and the fellowship of church friends. Each of us has much to learn on our spiritual journey.

The DISCIPLE Bible Study classes will be open to anyone interested and will meet at Pioneer UMC in Auburn and be led by Pastor Barb Smith

There will be two different sections: Mondays 2 – 4 pm   or Mondays 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Both groups begin with an orientation session on August 16. Please call Pastor Barb 530-885-4196 for more details and to reserve a space.

Join us this summer as we start our new sermon series. We are embarking on an expedition of discovery as we travel together as pilgrims on our faith journey.   Each week we will explore the following themes:Planning - Navigating - Deciding - Communicating - Exploring - Discovering - Persevering - Overcoming - Learning
I invite you to embark on this expedition, on God’s Great Adventure, and ask you to extend the love of Christ to your friends by encouraging them to join us on the journey too.

The Crochet Club is open to All wanting to learn, just beginning or
experienced are all welcome.  Please come to our next meeting on July 17th from 10:00-12:00 at the church.  We meet on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.   For more information and to RSVP please email the church office and include crochet in the subject line.

July will be here before we know it.  We are excited to meet our new pastor on July 4th but you will have a chance to meet her in a smaller setting.  Five of our wonderful families have volunteered their homes to host a meet the pastor event.  Please check your calendar and sign up for one of these events.
