On May 30, we will have a guest Preacher – Rev. Wendy Weller is the former pastor of the Sutter Creek United Methodist Church and is currently teaching in Elk Grove. Rev. Weller is convinced that churches can have an effective outreach in their local schools by recruiting volunteers to help teachers for just half an hour once or twice a week. How hard is that? Yet consistently showing up for a child can make all the difference.
